No sé cómo decirlo de otra manera.  
I don’t know how to say it differently.  
  
Un país que no se detiene.  
A country that doesn’t stop.  
  
Vacíos verticales  
Vertical abyss  
  
anónimos bajo chimeneas  
nameless people under smoking  
  
humeantes.  
chimneys.   
  
Sospecho de anónimos  
I distrust the nameless  
  
que se intercambian las máscaras,  
that interchange their masks  
  
cuando cambian de turno en turno  
when they rotate turns  
  
la placa que los identifica bajo el rótulo de  
the badge that identifies them under the label of  
  
esclavo  
slave  
  
fuerza  
replaceable  
  
 reemplazable.  
force.  
  
Máquina y máquina.  
Machine and machine.  
  
No entre. Espacio vigilado. Usted está siendo grabado. Propiedad privada.  
No trespassing. This property is protected by video surveillance. Private Property.  
  
¿Cómo hablar de estos espacios?  
How to speak about these spaces?  
  
¿Quién habla de esos espacios?  
Who speaks about those spaces?  
  
Si no me ves es porque no estoy ahí.  
If you don’t see me it’s because I am not there.  
  
Voy detrás de mis ojos, mirando a otro lado, adentro,  
I go behind my eyes, looking somewhere else, inside,  
  
en la mitad de dos lugares que no se concilian,  
in the middle of two irreconcilable places,  
  
 como lugares,  
as real,  
  
reales.  
places.   
  
Repito mi nombre,  
I repeat my name,  
  
para existir  
to exist  
  
repito mi nombre.  
I repeat my name.  
  
Y grito.  
And I scream  
  
Pero aquí nadie me escucha.  
But here no one listens to me.
